Ephraim Nonprofits Team Up to Benefit Northern Door Children

The Peninsula Preschool and the Hardy Gallery are pleased to announce their partnership for 2015’s “Art from the Heart.” This summer and fall, both nonprofit organizations will sell raffle tickets to win an original painting by well-known Door County artist Bonnie Paruch. The painting, titled “Breezy Day at Eagle Harbor,” is valued at $3,600 and beautifully captures Anderson Dock. In mutual beneficence, the Hardy Gallery will graciously donate 50 percent of ticket sales sold by the Peninsula Preschool back to the school, directly benefitting the children of Northern Door.

Tickets can be purchased for the cost of $5 each or five for $20. The drawing date is Oct. 13, 2015 at 1 pm at the Hardy Gallery. Raffle ticket purchasers will benefit two important causes and have a chance at owning a piece of artwork from Bonnie Paruch. Her award-winning work has appeared in books and magazines nationwide, including as the cover artist for American Artist magazine. She was also identified by International Artist magazine as one of “America’s leading landscape painters.”

To purchase tickets visit the following Northern Door businesses: Wild Tomato (Fish Creek), Husby’s (Sister Bay), Fireside Restaurant (Ellison Bay), and Edgewood Orchard Galleries (Fish Creek). Fifty percent of tickets purchased at these businesses or directly from Peninsula Preschool will benefit the school. Tickets are also available at the Hardy Gallery with those tickets fully benefitting the gallery’s nonprofit mission.
