Ephraim Yacht Club Expands Scholarship Offerings

The Ephraim Yacht Club’s newly created Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund has raised over $17,000 to fund sailing lesson scholarships at the EYC. As a result, the EYC will more than double the number of scholarships it offers in 2013.

The Fund memorializes Aaron Moore, a lifelong sailor and enthusiastic sailing instructor, who passed away in 2008. “The EYC is very grateful to Sherry and Rob Moore, Aaron’s parents, and to Aaron’s brother Adam and his wife Barbara, for conceiving this fund, for energetically organizing the benefit dinner, and for making Door County juniors the beneficiaries,” said Jay Lott, EYC Commodore.
