Ephraim Yacht Club Expands Scholarship Offerings

The Ephraim Yacht Club will more than double the size of its sailing lesson scholarship program in 2013, offering at least 45 scholarships. In addition, the value of each individual scholarship has been increased.

The EYC offers scholarships to junior sailing students who are year-round residents of Door County. A typical two-week session includes ten days of instruction for a regular price of $330. Scholarship students receive the same instruction for $82.50.

EYC Commodore Jay Lott explains, “The EYC is a community resource and we want to make sure that all Northern Door parents are able to enroll their children in EYC lessons if they wish.”
