One of Door County’s favorite musicians, Eric Lewis, returns to Door County for the first time in 2016 and to Fishstock for the final show of the season on Sept. 4 at 7 pm.
Lewis is a multi-instrumentalist who performs and records with some of the top Memphis artists. In addition to working as a duo with Rory Hoffman and also Tommy Burroughs, he has also toured the country with the first national tour of Patsy!, E-squared artist Cheri Knight and Prairie Home Companion favorites Robin and Linda Williams. In 2003, Lewis received the Premier Player Award for Strings by the Memphis Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. In 2008, he was named Best Male Musician in a Door County Magazine reader poll.
As usual Lewis brings along an entourage of phenomenally talented musicians.
Joining Lewis for her fifth Fishstock experience is Carolyn Martin. Carolyn is an astonishing, award-winning, western swing singer. Also performing will be Carolyn’s husband, bassist David Martin.
Also joining the lineup is the multi-instrumentalist and South Dakota native, Rory Hoffman. Hoffman is a Nashville session musician who plays nearly 15 instruments and works with musical greats Ricky Skaggs, Kathy Mattea, John Cowan, The Gypsy Hombres, Fifty Shades of Hay, Carolyn Martin’s Swing Band, John Jorgensen and many others.
Rounding out the group is Door County favorite the award-winning singer/songwriter, Jimmy Davis.
