Eva Jade Releases ‘Head & Heart’

Eva Jade Webber, sixteen-year-old junior at Sturgeon Bay High School, is releasing her first full-length album Head & Heart on May 30. The album features eleven original songs and was recorded in collaboration with other local musicians including Kim Souther on cello, Lynn Gudmundson on violin, and Robert Desotelle on percussion.

Jade is known for her beautiful lyrics and has been described by many as an “old soul” who seems able to capture the timeless struggles of love lost and found but with her lyrics in songs like “Eyes Closed” she can also move one with songs that speak to much bigger issues in the world. Jade usually accompanies herself on the piano but also enjoys playing the ukulele as well.

Head & Heart was produced by Mark Thiede and engineered by Mike McCaulley. The album was recorded and mastered at Sound Farmers here in Sturgeon Bay. Jade’s music will be available on iTunes and online through cdbaby but the first opportunity to hear her CD and get a signed copy will be at a CD release party at Glas Coffeehouse in Sturgeon Bay on May 30 from 4 – 7 pm. A live performance is also being planned for 6 pm. For more information visit evajademusic.com.
