Even More Eggs in Egg Harbor

If you thought Egg Harbor was full of eggs with the Eggstravaganza celebrating its 50th anniversary, next week will bring even more eggs to the area with the eggs at Egg Harbor Rally. Fifty-five molded fiberglass trailers are expected at the gathering next week at the Egg Harbor Campground and RV Resort.

“People call them eggs,” said rally organizer Tony Nowak, a resident of Mount Horeb. “They’re kind of retro, almost like a cult, like Harley Davidson or Jeep.”

Nowak owns a Canadian model called Bigfoot, but he expects most of the attendees will be hauling made-in-Minnesota Scamps.

“They are light and durable and run from 13 to 19 feet,” Nowak said.
