11-11:45am. Batty for Peninsula. Enjoy a bat-tastic story called Bats at the Beach, play bat and moth, and create bat art. Learn how Peninsula’s bats are faring with deadly white-nose syndrome. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
7:30-8:15pm. Beautiful Bats. Learn why Peninsula has lost nearly 75% of its bat population and what this means for Wisconsin. Presented by DNR Bat Biologist, Jennifer Redell. Discover bat adaptations by seeing live fruit bats. Held in the Nature Center. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
