10-10:30am. The Story of Chief Kahquados. The Potawatomi Nation has a special connection to
Peninsula State Park. Find out what it is through the tribe’s creation story. Kids are invited to bead arrowhead replica necklaces. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
11am-1pm. Wampum Bracelets. Beading project suitable for kids age eight and up, takes about 30 minutes. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
