Activities at the Park

10-10:30am. Flag Raising and Gettysburg Address. Help raise the stars and stripes, then enjoy a recitation of the Gettysburg Address by Charles Dickson. Held at the Nature Center. Free but park vehicle sticker required.
10:30am. Smokey Bear Appearance. Sharing special prizes for those who can recite his fire- fighting message, “Only YOU can prevent Wild Fires!” Peninsula’s annual egg toss and stars and stripes banner painting (weather permitting/outdoor art project), too. Free but park vehicle sticker required.
