9am-12pm. Geology Hike. Join a geologist and learn about the rich geologic history of Newport and the Door Peninsula. Moderate hiking. Meet at Lot 3. 2pm. Nature Journaling: Fossil Finds. Join naturalists and explore the world of nature journaling. No writing or drawing skills necessary. Materials provided or bring your own journal. Meet at the Nature Center, Lot 1.
