Activities at Newport State Park

11am. Save the Monarchs: Plant Milkweed Workshop. Join park naturalists as they talk about the life cycle of monarch butterflies and what we can do to save their habitat. Meet at the Nature Center. 8pm. Celebrate International Dark Sky Week. Bring your telescopes, binoculars, lawn chairs or blankets and spend some time stargazing. Meet near the picnic shelter at Lot 3.
