Activities at the Park

2-4pm. Native Games. Drop by the shoreline area across from the campground shelter to learn about traditional stickball games played by the Native Americans. Lacrosse sticks and Double Ball sticks available to pass around or play a game with. Stay for as long or little as you like. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.

7-8pm. Survival Shelters. The Park Naturalist teaches you about the principles of maintaining body temperature as well as how to build a solid shelter. Meet at the Nature Center. Sturdy shoes, pants, bug spray, and a flashlight or headlamp recommended. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
