Veteran’s Day Ceremony

Wisconsin Department of Veteran’s Affairs Secretary John A. Scocos and Vietnam veteran Colonel Tim Lawrie are the featured speakers. All Vietnam veterans in attendance will be honored in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. After the ceremony, there will be a luncheon for veterans and their family members. Veterans unable to drive to Fish Creek can get a ride from Door County Trolley, which will leave from the veterans memorial in front of Sturgeon Bay City Hall at 8:30am. Due to parent-teacher conferences this event is held the day before Veteran’s Day.
