A lecture and musical performance by Galen Abdur-Razzaq, an educator and an accomplished musician with. Abdur-Razzaq will discuss women in jazz, their personal lives, along with their ability to perform and survive in a time when jazz was considered ‘a man’s world.’ Abdur-Razzaq will perform before and after the lecture. Free and open to the public.
