Events Galore at Crossroads

Watch a screening of the Wisconsin Public Television documentary Lakeshore Guardians – about the United States Life-Saving Service in Wisconsin – on March 8, 2 pm, at Crossroads at Big Creek.

Ski for Free will be held on March 9, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm; and March 10, 1-3:30 pm. When conditions permit skiing, the program lends, free of charge, an array of ski and snowshoe equipment.

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will open the Astronomy Campus for a night-sky exploration on March 9, 7 pm. An inside program will be held in case of cloudy skies.                                                    

The Friends of Crossroads will meet on March 11, 6:30 pm, in the Collins Learning Center. All are welcome to learn more, become members and help plan upcoming events.

On March 14, 7 pm, in the lecture hall, Dale Goodner will discuss how to use native plants to restore home landscapes during his talk, “Restoration Ecology in the Backyard.”

The Collins Learning Center, at 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily and during scheduled events.
