• 1/17 – Mark Twain Revisited with Parker Drew, Third Avenue Playhouse, two performances of Drew’s one-man show as Twain

• 1/22 – Art Exhibit Opening, Fairfield Art Center, Opening of exhibit of Twain- and Sawyer-related art, photos and other items. Continues through February.

• 1/23 – DeVita talks about adaptation, Björklunden, author/playwright/actor James DeVita speaks about the process of adaptation in turning Twain’s book into his play Tom Sawyer

• 1/24 – Children’s Day at the Fairfield, Fairfield Art Center, Children’s events from 10am-2pm with fence-painting and picture-taking.

• 1/26 – Is He Dead? public reading, TBA, The Clearing class studying David Ives’ Tony-nominated adaptation of Twain’s farce presents a staged reading of the play, directed by Alan Kopischke.
