Exhibitors, Vendors Needed for Water Fest

Sustain Door is partnering with Crossroads at Big Creek to hold a Water Festival at the Crossroads campus on Sept. 15.

Planned activities include chemistry demonstrations with Professor Bassam Shakhashiri, musician/storyteller Lee Murdock entertaining with tales of the Great Lakes, local food to eat on site or to take home, a water table to illustrate how streams form and evolve, a planetarium show of the planets and water, a program on aquatic insects, owls that hunt the shoreline, rain gardens, composting, hydrology demonstrations and more.

Space is available for exhibitors and vendors of water-related ideas and products. Come show what you are doing, discover and network with others with similar interests, promote your business or organization and be part of local sustainability. Exhibits and booths should be related to sustainably enjoying our water resources. There will be no booth fees for exhibitors and vendors. Food concessions and produce booths, as well as fun and educational activities for children, are encouraged. To register as an exhibitor email [email protected] or call Rick Rogers at 920.746.9792 or Crossroads at 920.746.5895.
