Expanding Perspectives Of Disability With Mauree Childress

Mauree Childress, an artist whose work is currently being featured at the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay, is giving a presentation June 25, 10 am, during the Sunday service of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County, 10341 Hwy 42 in Ephraim. 

Childress’ work magnifies issues of social equity for women and people living with disabilities. As a person living with a physical disability, these two subjects are the focus of the artist’s sustained activism.
