Fair Trade for Talent Competition Enters Third Week

The Fair Trade for Talent competition is in its third week, and Tuesday, July 14 sees three new performers and new judges.

Singer-songwriters Brett Johnson, Debra Hadraba, and Emily Hurd will take the stage. Celebrity judges include judging panel leader and national touring artist Dorothy Scott, Melissa Ripp from the Peninsula Pulse, and James Alexander Flinn from the Egg Harbor Visitors Bureau.
The show starts at 7 pm and reservations are required. Admission is a $5 donation at the door to help toward artist’s expenses and prize money.

Attracting over 450 applications from around the country, the Door County Outpost is staging a talent show and entertainment extravaganza with a difference. With some similarities to “American Idol,” with a central theme of “giving back to the music community,” the Fair Trade for Talent project provides a stage for upcoming talented musicians to show their potential in front of a live audience and panel of celebrity judges.
