Fall Challenge Ride Registration Opens March 1

Registration for the Peninsula Century Fall Challenge bicycle ride opens March 1.

Door County’s premier century ride finishes on the Green Bay shore at Sister Bay’s Waterfront Park Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016. The finish includes a post-ride party featuring local chefs, beer from the Door County Brewing Co., and music at the newly completed park and music pavilion.

The picturesque ride through northern Door County highlights routes on the northern tip of the county that take riders past scenic shoreline while taking on challenging climbs in the century distance. Riders can choose from routes of 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles, and can save $15 off onsite registration by taking advantage of early bird pricing through May 31.

Participants can also compete for the Polka King of the Hills jersey, awarded to the top climbers in the ride.

At the finish line participants will be treated to a post-ride meal of specialties from Sister Bay restaurants, beer from Door County Brewing Co., and drinks from Tapuat Kombucha while enjoying live music at the pavilion. Meal tickets can be purchased by non-riders in advance.
