Fall Fest’s Fate to Be Decided Soon

The Sister Bay Parks and Properties Committee will discuss the fate of the village’s fall events during its Aug. 3 meeting. At a July 27 informational meeting of the Sister Bay Advancement Association, Sister Bay Village President Dave Lienau said he anticipates the committee will vote to cancel events through October, including Fall Festival.

Several business owners said they would support canceling the event, which draws an estimated 40,000 people to the village each year, but they said officials should not think that a cancellation will stop crowds from coming.
