As the largest health for kid’s day, the Door County YMCA is excited to participate in Healthy Kids Day. On April 27 both program centers will be open for free family activities.
As part of this year’s Healthy Kids Day, the Y will host a special guest: Paul Tukey, the founder of Safe Lawns, North America’s leading advocacy organization and information source for natural lawn care and ground maintenance. He will give a brief presentation on lawn safety for parents as well as hosting lawn game activities for children at the Northern Door Center at 10 am.
At the Northern Door center there will be open gyms, relay games, health vendors, lawn games, kids crafts, giant inflatable, a karate demonstration and the tanker inflatable in the pool.
At the Sturgeon Bay center there will be an inflatable dog in the pool (along with a waterslide), family play, and healthy snacks.
