Family Art Day at Peninsula School of Art

Families with children of all ages are invited to create jewelry inspired by nature during Family Art Day on April 20, 9 am – 12 pm.

Drawn from the ideas of Peninsula School of Art’s current exhibit – The Nature of Jewelry: Botanical Designs & Symbols (opening April 19), participants of Family Art Day will study floral designs and patterns of Georgia O’Keeffe and Claude Monet. The school provides all materials to create bracelets, pendants, and brooches. Families are invited to create a project and tour the current exhibit in the Guenzel Gallery.

Peninsula School of Art is proud to reach over 500 families and local students with their free outreach programs throughout the school year. Family Art Days are free and are offered every third Saturday of each month, September – May. These activities allow families to collaborate ideas and work together on a creative activity.

Peninsula School of Art is located at 3900 County Road F in Fish Creek. For more information visit http://www.peninsulaartschool.com.
