Family Centers Launch Friendship Fridays

The Family Centers of Door County announce a new event designed for single men and women age 25 or older, Friendship Fridays. Beginning on Friday, February 5, there will be a social gathering once a month from 8 – 10 pm at Master’s Cup Coffee House, located within the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay.

For the next several months participants will experience themed outings with food, refreshments, ice breaker activities and a positive atmosphere to meet and greet others with similar interests. Mark your calendars for the first Friday of the month (except April – second Friday) and call ahead to reserve your spot. The cost to attend is $10 per person.

The Friendship Fridays’ themes scheduled thus far include: “Fun to Do…Fondue” on Feb. 5; “March Madness…Board Game Mania” on Mar. 5; “Creativity Coffee House…Open Mic Music & Poetry” on April 9; and “SPICE it Up” on May 7.
