Family Centers Sponsor Egg Hunts

Easter is upon us and the Family Centers of Door County, a United Way of Door County Funded Partner, is providing Easter Egg Hunt activities in both the northern and southern parts of the county. There is no cost to attend either event.

As far north as you can go, on Washington Island, the Family Center’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 3 at the Mosling Recreation Center from 11 am – 12 pm. In addition, the seventh and eighth grade classes are hosting a fundraiser for their Washington D.C. trip following the Egg Hunt. From 12 – 3 pm, the Egglympics and Eggstreme Games Fun Fair will take place in the Gym and Community Center grounds (weather permitting).

Southern Door residents look forward each year to the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at the Forestville Town Hall in Maplewood. The event, a project of the Shining Stars 4-H Club and the Family Centers of Door County, has been an annual favorite since 2003. This year’s event in Maplewood takes place on Saturday, April 3. Registration is at 9:30 am with the hunt to follow at 10 am.
