Calling all fairies and elves! You and your parents are invited to join us for an evening of food, fun, and enchantment at the annual Fairy and Elf Tea Party.
Enter the magical world of wee folk through hands-on activities designed for the young and young-at-heart. Wear your best fairy or elf finery and enjoy punch, sandwiches and teacakes. This free event is fun for boys and girls of all ages and their parents or adult chaperones.
The festivities begin at 5:30 pm as children and adults (if they wish) can come dressed in elf or fairy finery. The festivities will begin with food and beverages, and children will then gather in the STAR room and prepare for a parade.
As children prepare, the Family Centers Board of Directors will host its annual meeting. The meeting is part of a Family Centers tradition of hosting an annual meeting that connects to the people whose lives the organization aims to enrich.
The short meeting will include recognition of the generous efforts of Family Centers’ volunteers. The Northern Door Children’s Center is one of five Family Centers’ host sites on the peninsula. When the meeting concludes the “elves and fairies” will parade through the facility.
All are invited to the event to learn more about the organization or just to bring their kids or grandkids for an evening of imaginative fun.
