Family Gardening Class

The Door County Seed Library is hosting a free family gardening class on March 16, 11 am – 12:30 pm, at the Sturgeon Bay Library. Kids can get dirty building soil blocks, and parents will learn from Pat Thorp of Pat’s Patch how and when to plant a garden of nutritious, easy-to-grow vegetables. Participants will receive free bean-seed packets and the Amazing Seeds kids’ magazine. No registration is necessary.

The Door County Seed Library is a collaborative partnership of the Door County Master Gardeners Association, Door County Library, UW-Extension, Wild Ones of Door Peninsula and The Community’s Garden.
