Family Theater Workshop Opens Doorways Season

The Doorways theater program, a series of classes and workshops for people of all ages, will begin its season on Saturday, June 28 with a family workshop. Participating families will spend the hour and a half of the workshop learning and playing a wide assortment of theater games, which can be enjoyed in the backyard as easily as in a rehearsal hall. The workshop will be taught by Jennefer Ludwigsen. The workshop costs $10 per family and will be held at St. John’s in Egg Harbor.

The family workshop is the first of several workshops to be held throughout the summer, including two children’s theater workshops (one in July and one in August), one adult class to be held weekly from July 15 through August 19, and another family workshop in August.

Since 2000, Doorways has gained a loyal following by providing educational theater programs for children. This year, Doorways has not only expanded its workshops to include adults and families, but has also become part of Door Shakespeare.

Families interested in participating in any of the workshops should call the Door Shakespeare office at 920.839.1500.
