Fantasy Books Featured at Novel Ideas

Novel Ideas Bookstore in Baileys Harbor is hosting a Fantasical Family Fun Night on Saturday July 18 from 7 – 10 pm. After last year’s successful town wide celebration for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, many in the community asked what was planned for the summer of 2008. This year’s theme is fantasy book characters including Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, Eragon, Narnia and Spiderwick. Dress up as your favorite fantasy book character and enter the costume contest. Enjoy playing Magic Bingo, Unicorn Ring Fling, Cauldron Toad Toss and Hula Hoop Loop.

Choose from a variety of crafts to make, go on a scavenger hunt, test your knowledge of fantasy book trivia or enjoy themed food and drink items at local restaurants. There will also be live music, prize drawings and face painting throughout the evening. Store discounts will apply to selected fantasy books and related items.
