Farm Market Kitchen continues Heritage Dinner Series

The 2013 Heritage Dinner Series at the Farm Market Kitchen returns for another season. The dinners are a showcase event of the Farm Market Kitchen Incubator a shared-used food-processing center in Algoma.

Proceeds from the dinners help support The Farm Market Kitchen programs and certified kitchen for local food initiatives and entrepreneurs. The center makes kitchen space available for rent by the hour, and offers technical support, business assistance programs, and custom processing services.

Foods from the New England & Cape Cod Region will be featured at the dinner on June 20 at the Gerald J. Haegele Center, located at 520 Parkway, adjacent to the Algoma lighthouse. The dinners include appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages.

The dinner series continues with Deep Southern Comfort Foods (July 18), Hawaiian Islands Favorites (Aug. 15), and New York Italian Specialties (Sept. 13).

The Farm Market Kitchen Incubator is a unique non-profit project. Mary Pat Carlson, Director, says, “We are now in our 11th year of helping those with a dream of processing food products take their dream and turn it into a business.”

The evening begins at 5:30 pm with appetizers and cash bar, and dinner follows at 6 pm. Dinner costs $18. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. For reservations call 920-487-9750 or 920-421-0995. For more information visit farmmarketkitchen.org.
