Farmers May Now Join Egg Harbor Farmers Market for Free

The Egg Harbor Business Association (EHBA) has two pieces of good news: the farmers market will return for its third season, and farmers may now join this juried market for free. It will take place in Harbor View Park on Fridays, 9 am – 1 pm, starting May 24 and running through the end of October, weather permitting.

The EHBA is now accepting applications for this growing farmers market. Vendors must be Door County residents who sell fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, cheese or meat that they have grown or produced themselves. Prepared food made from products they have grown or produced – for example, honey, syrup, jellies and canned foods – will also be considered. No resale, wholesale or store-bought products will be allowed.

The annual fee for nonfarmers is $75 per 10-foot-by-10-foot booth. The market manager will assign vendor spaces before the first market. The 2019 application and rules are available online at EggHarborDoorCounty.org or by email request at [email protected]. Please return completed applications to EHBA, PO Box 33, Egg Harbor, WI 54209.
