Fashion Forward Returns for Second Year

The Fashion Forward fashion show returns to the Kress Pavilion on Feb. 29, 6:30 pm. The show, started by Claire Erickson, was meant to empower women of all shapes, sizes, ages and colors, while raising money for services that help women in need.

Erickson was asked to walk in a show in Milwaukee where the proceeds went to a breast cancer foundation.

“I thought, ‘this is really cool and Door County doesn’t have anything like this.’ And it might be kind of weird because I don’t know how many people in Door County have experienced a fashion show, but I thought this was something that could be cool in the off-season,” Erickson said of her inspiration to start the show.

For its second year, Fashion Forward will donate proceeds to Family Services Sexual Assault Center. All are welcome, and encouraged, to attend. Tickets are $25.
