Father, Daughter Create Art and Music

Door County artist Tim Nyberg will be spending part of this Fathers’ Day painting to the music of his daughter, Jana. The public is invited to watch this creative collaboration.

Jana (the Jana Nyberg Group) has been a Door County jazz fixture for the past four years, performing weekly at Gordon Lodge, the Mission Grille and other Door County venues. Now residing in the Twin Cities, she has been making a name for herself in the vibrant Minnesota jazz community.

Sunday, June 20 she will be returning to Door County to perform flute and vocal music as her dad, Tim, paints to the music. This “performance art” event will take place at Sturgeon Bay’s Gallery 42 (g42) from 1 – 3 pm. No admission will be charged and beverages will be available.
