After soaking up the sun in Door County for the day, remember the evening can be just as enjoyable.

As your quest for the perfect evening continues, why not search out some dancing music to help work off some of that fish boil and cheese curds. An act to look out for is the Brooker Band from Green Bay. This five-piece group has toured consistently throughout Door County for the last three years. A new guitarist and sax player add a little twist and a lot of energy to this popular group. Singer and guitarist Sam Brooker is currently splitting time between recording in Nashville and playing for his favorite Door County crowd. Neal Gallagher on drums and Chris Hanaway on bass are one with the groove thanks to the addition of Milwaukee Blues legend Joey Carini on guitar. Rounding out the group is award-winning saxophonist Jamie Beckman of the Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble. This is one group that really keeps the crowd dancing week after week at places like the C&C Supper Club and the Blue Ox. Dance the night away to the Brooker Band and round out the perfect day in Door County.
