Featured Pet: Candy

Would you like Candy? No, we are not talking about leftover Valentine’s Day candy; we are talking about our very beautiful feline named Candy that has been living at the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) since July of 2015. She came in as a surrender because her previous owner’s children developed allergies and could no longer keep her in their home. Candy is at the distinctive age of 12 years old. As you can see by her picture, her coat consists of beautiful tones of orange, black, and white. What makes her truly unique is the marking above her mouth that resembles a tan mustache. This sweet girl is very loving, calm, and has a great purring motor. She loves to receive attention from humans and has a big heart. So if you are looking for a spectacular and sweet Candy that everyone will love, come and recuse Candy today.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 County PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open 12 – 6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 12 – 4 pm Saturday. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit doorcountyhumanesociety.org.
