Featured Pet: Chalupa

Meet Chalupa, a five-month-old kitten available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus!

Chalupa has made an incredible transformation during his time with WHS. At first, he was extremely fearful of humans, and it seemed he would be most successful living outdoors as a barn cat. Two weeks later, he finally realized he was safe and began to reveal his softer side. He still tends to be shy in new situations and will likely need time to adjust to his new home, but deep down, he’s a loving, playful kitten who can’t wait to have a place to call home.

Like all cats at WHS, Chalupa has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Stop in to meet him during our open adoption hours. The WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – is open for adoptions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12-6 pm; and Saturday, 12-4 pm.
