Featured Pet: Chester

Meet Chester (wihumane.org/adopt/animal?id=45121672), a handsome two-year-old cat who’s available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus. He’s outgoing and friendly, yet independent – the type of cat who will enjoy your company rather than your lap. Chester is also FIV-positive (feline immunodeficiency virus). Cats with FIV can live a normal lifespan when kept indoors and taken to see a veterinarian regularly.

Originally found as a stray with scars on his head and legs, we can only guess what he had endured in his past. Thankfully, he was found, and now he can look forward to a bright future with a loving family.

Like all cats at WHS, Chester has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, plus you get to name your own adoption fee! To meet this affectionate kitty, call the WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – at 920.746.1111.
