This is Herbie, a two-year-old Walker Coonhound. He was recently surrendered to the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) because his family could no longer care for him. He has a smooth black, white and brown coat and has earned the reputation of being a very friendly and sweet boy. He’s a hound, so he definitely enjoys being outside, but prefers to be inside with people. DCHS will host the third annual Kitten Shower on Saturday, June 11 from 1 to 3 pm at the humane society, and everyone is invited to attend. The celebration includes games, snacks, naming opportunities, trivia with prizes, and time with the DCHS kittens.
