Featured Pet: Jade

This is Jade, a five-year-old feline currently residing at the Door County Humane Society (DCHS). She has a beautiful calico coat that consists of black, orange and white fur. She came into DCHS as a stray in January of 2016 and ever since has been looking for a loving family to call her own. She has a few requests of her future family. First, due to her sensitive tummy, she needs to be on a food that will help her digestive track. Secondly, she would like all of her future family’s attention for herself, so she needs to be the only cat of the household. Finally, she has kitty acne, so she’ll occasionally need a facial (it’s really just applying a little bit of cream to her chin). She’s not a huge fan of being picked up, but she loves to cuddle and doze off in someone’s lap. So, if you’re looking for a great girl with an independent spirit come and rescue Jade today.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 County PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open 12 – 6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 12 – 4 pm Saturday. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit doorcountyhumanesociety.org.
