Featured Pet: Mama Kitty

Every once in a while, we find a truly unique four-legged creature that can teach all of us humans an important lesson in life. Mama Kitty is that creature, teaching all of us the importance of remaining young at heart no matter our age. This sweet girl came to the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) as a surrender in May 2015. While this white, orange, black and grey feline may look young, she is the wise and mature age of 14. Recently, Mama Kitty had surgery to remove a benign growth on her back, and we are happy to report that the test results came back noncancerous. This adorable girl is very affectionate and will gladly crawl into any available lap she can find. Despite her maturity, she still enjoys playing and has plenty of zest for life. The only requests that Mama Kitty has for her future family is a quiet, loving home to spend the rest of her days where she will be the only cat, and thus lavished with lots of TLC. So if you are looking for a cat that will always remind you to stay young at heart, come and check out Mama Kitty today.
