Featured Pet: Mew

Meet Mew, a seven-month-old calico available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus. Found as a tiny kitten on a local farm, she is a talkative, curious girl who enjoys being petted but gets easily frightened by fast movements and loud noises. Don’t be surprised if you find her hiding safely in her favorite spot when guests come over. But, when she’s comfortable, her purr motor will start right up, loud and strong!

Like all kittens at WHS, Mew has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, plus her adopter will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam.

Stop in to meet Mew during our adoption hours. The WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – is open for adoptions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12-6 pm; and Saturday, 12-4 pm. To learn more, call 920.746.1111.
