Featured Pet: Patch

There is something to be said about having a name that suits oneself, and the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) featured pet for the week is no exception. This dog is named Patch because of the unique marking on his right eye. The rest of his sleek and slender body is white while the distinctive eye patch is a combination of brown and black coloring. He’s a one-year-old Boxer that recently came to DCHS as a surrender because his family could no longer care for him. Since Patch is so young, he’s continuing to work on obedience skills, and with time will be a very well behaved young man. At DCHS he is known as a big, cuddly lover that enjoys receiving as much TLC as possible. So if you are looking for a fun and playful guy, come and rescue him today.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 County PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open 12 – 6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 12 – 4 pm Saturday. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit doorcountyhumanesociety.org.
