Featured Pet: Scooter

Meet Scooter, an eight-year-old lady available for adoption from the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus. Scooter was found as a stray in Egg Harbor and came through our doors in rough shape. She was suffering from inflamed eyes, dirty ears, congested breathing and a broken tooth, and she smelled like motor oil. After lots of TLC, she is finally ready to have a place to call home.

After everything she’s been through, Scooter is understandably shy but enjoys being petted from the comfort of her bed and gives the best head butts. Like all cats at WHS, Scooter has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, plus you get to name your own adoption fee!

Stop in to meet Scooter during our adoption hours. The WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – is open for adoptions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12-6 pm; and Saturday, 12-4 pm. To learn more, call 920.746.1111.
