Featured Pet: Scout

A current canine resident at the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) is Scout. As you can see by his profile picture, he is an adorable Bichon with a curly white coat. This adorable boy is at the mature age of thirteen years old. Even though he is at this distinguished age, he still has a lot of energy and zest for life. He recently came to DCHS as a surrender because his family could no longer care for him. Since he is such a love bug and has such a warm and loving personality, he spends his days as a greeter at the Door County Humane Society. You can often find him sitting behind the front desk at DCHS with the front desk volunteers. While Scout enjoys his time in the companionship of the staff and volunteers, he is actively searching for a loving family to call his own. So if you are looking for a great companion that loves to go on walks and provide you with TLC, Scout is the dog for you.
