Featured Pet: Snowball

Meet Snowball, a four-pound, four-month-old kitten who’s available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus.

Snowball was brought to WHS as a stray at just one month old and in rough shape. She was clearly sick, so staff members quickly began treatments to help her feel better. Despite their efforts, however, she continued to decline. No one was willing to give up on her, so a dedicated foster family took her in and continued the medication, which was exactly what she needed. Snowball was almost in the clear when she was diagnosed with ringworm. After more weeks of treatment, she’s finally healthy and ready for a place to call home!

Like all cats at WHS, Snowball is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, plus her adopter will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam.

Stop in to meet Snowball during our adoption hours. The WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – is open for adoptions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12-6 pm; and Saturday, 12-4 pm. To learn more, call 920.746.1111.
