Incumbent Daniel Kelly will face Dane County Circuit Court Judge Jill Karofsky in the April 7 election for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Kelly and Karofsky easily outdistanced Ed Fallone in Tuesday’s primary election.
Kelly was appointed to the court by Governor Scott Walker in 2016. While Kelly led state-wide, Karofsky led voting in Door County with 47 percent of the vote.
In the primary for Door County Supervisor in District 3, incumbent Roy Englebert polled well ahead of challengers Lora Jorgensen and Patrick Olson. Jorgensen won the right to take on Englebert in April. The county’s decision to draw down the Forrestville Millpond has been a driving issue in that race, with Jorgensen questioning the county board’s decision.
