Fernandez Brings Native Americana to Coffeehouse Series

Wade Fernandez (Walks with the Black Wolf) will be the next featured performer in the Door Community Auditorium Coffeehouse Concert series March 10, 7 pm.

Fernandez is a deeply authentic, award-winning, international touring artist from the Menominee Nation Reservation in Wisconsin. He began his solo career opening for Jackson Browne and the Indigo Girls onstage, leading to a long career that has included 50-plus international tours

He is as comfortable performing solo vocals, acoustic guitar and native flute at a folk festival as he is onstage jamming electric with his band – a blend of styles some call contemporary Native Americana.

The performance will be held virtually via Facebook, and after its premiere, it will also be available on YouTube. The concert is free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated.
