Festival Honors Foundational Local Artists

The Door County Festival of Fine Arts is distinctive in that all participating artists must be actively working in Door County. This year, the festival is acknowledging some of the artists whose work built the foundation for the county’s art community.

To honor their important contributions, the Legacy Artist Exhibit will feature works by Jack Anderson, Donna Brown, Frannie Dickinson, David Frykman, Emmett Johns, Carol and Charlie Lyons, Charles Peterson and Ellen and Karsten Topelmann.  

The exhibit will run during the Festival of Fine Arts on Aug. 14, 10 am – 4 pm, in the Sister Bay Village Hall, 10693 Hwy 42.
