Festival of Blossoms at TR Pottery

Potter Tony Gebauer has created new vases for the season. “When winter was getting under my skin a bit, I started to make vases as my own way to encourage spring,” said Gebauer.  “Now that spring is actually here, I am excited for people to visit the gallery and pick a vase to fill with their favorite flowers.”

Gebauer made mini 2.5” tall bud vases that he envisions holding delicate blossoms, 5” vases that are designed with narcissus in mind, and 8” designs that are thrown fuller for bouquets.

The larger vases are 12” tall. “They are slender with an opening designed to corral branches:  pussy willow, forsythia, apple, or cherry,” said Gebauer.

In addition to their new vases, TR Pottery sells a variety of other vases and functional shapes including bowls, mugs, cups, wine chillers, candle pillars, spoon rests, and more.

TR Pottery is a working studio located on Highway 42 in Fish Creek, next to The Cookery. The gallery is open 10 am – 5 pm Mondays through Saturdays and 10 am – 3 pm Sundays. For more information visit trpottery.com or call 920.868.1024.
