FFA Alumni Donate Grant to Greenhouse Project

After local farmer Richard Olson received a 2022 America’s Farmers Grow Communities Grant, he selected the Southern Door FFA Alumni organization as the recipient of the $5,000 grant, and it, in turn, has donated the money to the Southern Door School District to use for its greenhouse project. The greenhouse will benefit agriculture students and those who participate in FFA activities.
